Glen David Meyer July 1, 1955 - December 8, 2022
Glen was an active member of Christ Lutheran Church and the Southeast Minnesota Chapter of the American Guild of Organists. He severed numerous years as an Assistant Scoutmaster for Boy Scout Troop 42. Glen enjoyed gardening, canning, cooking, baking, fishing, hunting, scuba diving, playing 500, trivia, craft beer, and 'smooth' drinks.
Byron developed a passion for early American antiques. Living in Wilmington he became involved in cultural institutions including Winterthur Museum, Garden & Library. He was a lifelong learner and developed treasured friendships with antiques dealers and experts.

Byron seemed a great guy, and he was someone I looked forward to getting to know better, and to work with. Byron was a charismatic leader and thoughtful mentor. He was always quick to share a story, offer sound advice, or just take the time to catch up. I'm truly saddened to hear of his passing, and my thoughts are prayers are with his family, friends, and all whose lives he brightened.
My heart breaks at the loss of this beautiful soul. May Our Lord ease the pain of his family and strengthen them to endure this loss. May his memory be eternal and may you live to remember him.

Charles G. Meserve, 93, of Hampden, passed away on Tuesday, November 22, 2022, at his home surrounded by his family. Charles was born in Worcester, MA., on November 4, 1929, the son of the late Carl and Myra Meserve. Charles was a resident of Hampden for 60 years. He loved archery, hunting, camping, motorcycle riding, playing tennis, fishing and most of all flying one of his many many RC airplanes with the NCRCC club. I am so sorry Carol for the loss of your sweet husband Glen. I met you both by chance when we were dining out a few years ago.
